My top 5 skate videos

These are 5 of my most favorite skate videos, the ones that have influenced me most and that got me into skateboarding.

 

LurkNYC

First, I’ll start with LurkNYC, now this isnt just one video or film, but a whole youtube skate team who consistently upload videos of their group skating through New York City.

 

 

 

 

Yeah Right!

The next video I’ll put here is Girl’s “Yeah Right!” which is I’m pretty sure the first skate video i ever watched all the way through, and has a great usage of slo-mo, and none of the hour and eleven minutes feels boring, which I’m sure is hard to do.

 

 

Fully Flared

Im sure this next video is in everyones list, but there is a reason for that. Lakai’s video “Fully Flared” has an amazing use of special effects and explosions and is basically a skateboarding action film, and what every imaginative little kid envisions skateboarding to be. It took over 4 years to be made, and also won Transworlds video of the year award in 2007.

 

High ‘n’ Dry

Thrashers “High ‘n’ Dry” isnt a full length video like everything else so far, but it is just super fun to watch, and shows how amazing vert can be, especially if its at a whole water park.

 

 

 

 

 

Baker 3

 

Baker 3 is an amazing video and was probably the one to influence my choice of choosing baker as my first deck.
